4.Strengthening management foundation

①Compliance
Compliance is the bedrock of maintaining trustworthy business activities. tam always strives to make the right decisions and take actions based on our Compliance Policy, so as to live up to the public’s trust and expectations. We also have in place a Compliance Committee that is chaired by the President and CEO and comprises all the Executive Members, and maintains a clear picture of compliance matters while also supervising related initiatives. We regularly conduct training on compliance, striving to raise awareness of compliance in each and every employee.
We have also established internal and external whistle-blowing contacts for the purpose of preventing and promptly correcting any legal infringement or unfair or illegal act by an Executive Member or employee, and we make these contacts known internally.

②Corporate governance
tam strives to ensure that its corporate governance is effective, complies with laws and regulations, and bases its business activities on ethics and social norms. We aim to make prompt and accurate management decisions, enhance the soundness and transparency of management, and increase corporate value. We also have a system in place to separate director functions from business execution roles, making responsibilities for business execution and supervision transparent, and enabling quick responses to rapid changes in the business environment.

③Integrated disaster risk management
tam has formulated a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to quickly restore production and ensure business continuity in the event of a natural disaster or other incident. The Business Continuity Plan clearly defines the response procedures, division of roles, and communication arrangements in the event of an incident. We also regularly carry out safety checks and disaster HQ drills to test the effectiveness of the plan and make improvements if deficiencies are identified. We back up the data we need for business continuity to a highly secure external server so that it can be quickly restored. Additionally, we regularly carry out disaster drills and conduct drills for alerts, evacuation, fire extinguishing, and rescue based on a hypothetical scenario such as a fire or earthquake.
