2.Contributing to society through business

①Improving product quality and safety
Our intention is to continue to be trusted and chosen by our customers by contributing to the enhancement of our customers' corporate value through the provision of safe, reliable, and high-quality products and services. In addition, in accordance with our quality policy, we established a quality management system and obtained ISO9001 certification in 1996. Since then, we have continuously worked to improve the quality of our products. At tam, an independent section conducts final inspections to ensure the safety and quality of every new unit we manufacture and ship.

Final Inspection

Strict Inspection, Product-friendly
Under our Quality Policy, we always conduct a shipment inspection (final inspection) before an on-site inspection with the customer in attendance, and thoroughly inspect the final process with the motto, "If it does not pass inspection, it must not be shipped."

Three Special Features of our Final Inspection
Feature 1
The inspection team conducts the final inspection based on the standard sheet, which describes the inspection items, judgment criteria, etc., and confirms that the specifications required by the customer have been met.

Feature 2
The inspection team consists of members who are not involved in machine adjustments, allowing them to approach inspection with a mindset more aligned to that of the customer.

Feature 3
The inspection team holds in-house qualifications and is trained and educated on a daily basis to ensure they are familiar with common assessment standards.

②Reducing losses in production and supply chains
Since tam was founded, improvement proposal activities have been implemented continuously, mainly in the design and manufacturing departments. However, since 2003, all departments have been carrying out these activities in their current form every day. We continuously encourage employees to focus on increasing productivity by providing incentives corresponding to the effectiveness of the improvements and recognizing even the smallest day-to-day improvements. Additionally, we present annual awards for proposals with significant impact, promoting improvements across the entire company.

③Coexisting with local communities
(a) Participation in safe driving awareness activities
The Kashiwa Factory participates in the Kashiwa District Safe Driving Managers Council and supports community traffic safety activities, such as distributing leaflets, conducting awareness raising and publicity activities using a PR vehicle for alerts and warnings, and assisting with Council operations.
(b) Supporting local school children's baseball teams
We have opened up our baseball field at our Kashiwa Factory to a school children's baseball team on weekends, as a member of the community, and to support children’s development through sport.
(c) Communicating with local communities
The Kashiwa Factory has been holding a summer festival since the 1970s, which many local residents attend.
